The FusionForce virtual reality training platform consists of a multi-user virtual reality training grid (FusionBloc) and mechanical vehicle simulators (FusionSim) that integrate into highly realistic virtual reality security and military training courses. The human behavioural data that is tracked and monitored in the virtual reality environment is dynamically stored in your companies FusionCloud database.
The FusionBloc virtual reality training grid uses advanced tracking devices and infrared sensors to capture, record and replicate trainees’ movement in virtual reality. This modular system can be scaled to a max area of 10 000 sqm and can accommodate as many users as necessary.
Once trainees have put on the necessary virtual reality equipment and stepped into the FusionBloc tracking grid, the motion tracking sensors are used to capture, record and replicate users’ movements; allowing trainees to see and interact with each other and the virtual reality elements presented in the scenario.
The FusionBloc tracking grid facilitates the tactical VR training courses. Each course fully immerses trainees into various scenarios that are designed to help them improve decision-making skills, reaction times and accuracy. The FusionSim VR simulators (discussed below) are able to directly link into the FusionBloc tracking environment, allowing people and vehicles to work together in the same VR courses.
Our FusionSim virtual reality vehicle simulators are purposely designed to provide trainee operators with comprehensive training in a safe and controlled virtual reality mining environment.
The FusionSim platform allows trainees to become familiar with the vehicles they operate, the working conditions they operate in, and the various hazards that occur on the mine site.
Once trainees put on the VR headsets, they are fully immersed in the virtual reality mining courses. This complete immersion, combined with 360 spatial audio and the movement of the motion platform, creates a highly realistic platform for trainees to perfect their skills.

Depending on the scenario, each virtual reality training course is designed to help trainees learn new skills or test their existing knowledge in highly immersive and interactive virtual reality training scenarios.

FusionCloud serves as a platform for clients to dynamically book training sessions for their company. Once trainee profiles are completed successfully, the system will automatically capture and log the individual’s training sessions into a database. The current available reports are as follows:
These logs can be accessed as and when necessary to prove that a trainee has successfully completed the practical part of their training. This capturing method allows facilitators to better understand what training is required by each individual, creating a more personalised training method.
Key analytic dashboards are available for all relevant stakeholders on FusionCloud. These dashboards provide management with a snapshot of how individuals and teams progress through the VR training courses.
Every trainee that participates in the FusionXR training platform will be providing key human behaviour data. Over time, this accumulated data will be analysed using machine learning and AI. Using this data, we aim to identify certain procedures that, if implemented correctly, could improve trainees overall safety and efficiency.
